Perranuthnoe is a quiet unspoilt village situated on the
Coastal Path in Mounts Bay. It has a south facing picturesque sandy beach, ideal
for family holidays, only 400m from the cottages. There is also an award-winning
pub, serving superb food - The Victoria Inn - just 30 paces from the cottage.
It is an excellent centre for South Cornwall, being within
easy reach of Penzance, Mousehole, Lands End, St. Ives, Helford River, the
Lizard and the Eden Project.
Marazion, with St. Michaels Mount is just two miles
away and for theatre lovers the Minack Theatre, perched on the cliffs, over
looking the turquoise waters of Porthcurno, is easily reached by car.
A ferry and helicopter service to the Scilly Isles are
available from Penzance, less than five miles away.
For watersports enthusiasts,
Mounts Bay, is an ideal sheltered bay for dingy sailing, windsurfing
and kitesurfing and we are able to organise sea kayak rental from around
£55 per week with the kayaks delivered to the cottage.
Within ten miles of the village are some of the best surf
beaches in the country, Perranuthnoe Beach itself is a protected surf beach,
ideal for learning how to malibu and boogy board.
Mullion, Cape Cornwall and St. Ives links golf courses are
within easy reach of the village and the more established St. Mellion is just a
short drive away.
The Eden Project is a 45 minute drive away and more locally
there are the gardens of Trelissick, Trevarno, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and
Lanhydrock.
