Local Attractions

Perranuthnoe beach is only a 5 minute stroll away with the renowned Victoria Inn (bookings essential) opposite the cottage. There are two wonderful cafe's, art gallerys, and a small gift shop in the village. The local farm shop at the top of the road is covenient for the odd essentials and there is a very tasty fish and chip shop 5 minutes drive away on the Helston road.

The Coastal Path will take you on a wonderful walk to Marazion where you can stroll across to St Michaels Mount at low tide, or there is the ferry if you don't wish to get your feet wet. In the other direction is a fabulous walk along the path to Prussia Cove and if you keep your eyes open you will often spot seals in the waters below.

Please take care on all the Coastal Paths as erosion is an ongoing issue.

For theatre lovers the Minack Theatre, perched on the cliffs, overlooking the turquoise waters of Porthcurno is easily reached by car. One of our favorite days out is a trip to St Ives via the park and ride from St Erth train station, great views and no searching for a carpark, sheer bliss.
